On July 26, 2024, Lombok Dirt Bike welcomed a special guest from Spain, Ignacio Beaumont, a 15-year-old adventure enthusiast. Standing tall at 186 cm and with extensive experience in mountain biking, Ignacio was the perfect candidate to take on the excitement of exploring Lombok on a dirt bike.
The Journey Begins
Ignacio’s family was staying in Senggigi, outside Lombok Dirt Bike’s pickup area. However, their enthusiasm remained undeterred. They arranged their own transportation and ensured they arrived at our basecamp in Kuta on time. Despite the two-hour drive from Senggigi, they left their hotel at 7:30 AM to ensure Ignacio could start his adventure at 10:00 AM.
Preparation and Equipment
Ignacio was fully equipped with all necessary gear, including a helmet, goggles, jersey, pants, and boots. When his mother mentioned that he only had short-sleeved shirts and shorts with him, we happily provided additional long-sleeved clothing to ensure his safety and comfort throughout the journey.
Lombok's Scenic Adventure
The adventure began with a morning exploration of the southern hills, offering breathtaking views of pristine beaches and the island’s stunning landscapes. Ignacio enjoyed the challenge of navigating through rocky limestone trails in Selong Belanak, surrounded by picturesque coconut trees, before riding on the white sandy beaches of this spectacular area.
At midday, Ignacio savored a delicious local lunch at a beachside restaurant, recharging his energy for the more challenging mountain trails in the afternoon. The journey continued with hidden beaches, rugged landscapes, and thrilling terrains that left him with unforgettable memories.

By the end of the day, Ignacio returned to the basecamp with a beaming smile. The combination of an exhilarating dirt bike ride and Lombok’s natural beauty left a lasting impression on him and his family.
