Visitors can reach this beach using private vehicles such as motorcycles, cars, or mountain bikes. Currently, there is no public transportation serving the route to this beach. From Mataram City, the journey to Ujung Gulf Beach takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, while from Lombok International Airport, it only takes about 45 minutes, depending on the speed of the vehicle. Upon arriving at the entrance of Gunung Tunak Nature Park, visitors can use the open-back truck service provided by the park management to reach Teluk Ujung Beach.
Opening Hours
The opening hours of Ujung Gulf Beach in Gunung Tunak Nature Park are every day from Monday to Sunday, from 07:00 AM to 06:00 PM. These hours follow the operational schedule of Taman Wisata Alam Gunung Tunak (Gunung Tunak Nature Park). The park management leaves the area in the afternoon to avoid any unwanted incidents. Visitors are also advised to leave the beach before evening for safety and comfort.

Facilities at Ujung Gulf Beach
Ujung Gulf Beach is located in a hidden area and requires passing through a forest, which is why it is still rarely visited by tourists. Therefore, the available facilities are still limited, but the management is continuously working to develop public facilities at this beach. Currently, there is a parking area and several gazebos for resting. Facilities such as food stalls, toilets, and prayer rooms are not yet available. Nonetheless, various accommodations are available outside the Gunung Tunak Nature Park. Visitors can choose from different types of accommodations according to their budget.

Exotic Charm of Ujung Gulf Beach: Ujung Gulf Beach offers an exotic view with its clear blue sea and clean white sand. The sand is unique with small, pepper-like grains, providing a different sensation when stepped on. The cliffs at the end of the beach add to the stunning natural beauty.
Turtle Conservation: Gunung Tunak Nature Park carries out conservation efforts to protect turtles and their habitats. Visitors can participate in this conservation effort, including adopting and releasing baby turtles that have been hatched from eggs collected by local residents.
Deer Sanctuary: On the way to Ujung Gulf Beach, visitors will pass by the deer sanctuary in Gunung Tunak Nature Park. Here, visitors can see deer up close and interact with these tame wild animals.
Raden Hill and Betunak Tradition: On the left side of the beach is Raden Hill, a sacred hill believed to be a gathering place for ancient sages. The “betunak” tradition is often held around the beach, where buffalo are released into the forest, swamps, and savannah as a form of respect for the forest area that remains intact in the southern part of Lombok.
